It has been a long summer filled with some pretty amazing adventures. Here is a link to a slideshow of photos Andrew took while we were exploring the Northern California coast in Mendocino County, surprising Nana and Poppy in Chicago for their 40th Anniversary, and gallivanting in the Big Apple.
And yes cd's of photos in which you or your offspring (or your offspring's offspring) appear are available upon request. :)
We're so lucky to have our own personal family photographer/paparazzo!

Bonding With The Boys
A jet-lagged Sullivan bravely ventured out today for a playdate with two other little boys (all three were born within 5 days of one another).
Snack time:

Feeding a strawberry to his friend Luke:

"Driving" Luke's car. He was OBSESSED with it:

Our failed attempt to get three 16 month-old boys to sit on the stair for a group photo resulted mostly in Sullivan waiting patiently for the other two and then (of course) jumping up the second they sat down. In his defense, he did wait for quite a while, which is impressive (and a little bit adorable), seeing as how he rarely holds still for ANYTHING:

Happy Tuesday!
Sullivan went on a lunch date with his dad today while I was at ballet. Apparently they were not the only father-toddler duo at Johnny Rockets (go figure -a burger joint!), and had a lot of fun.

Also, one of Sullivan's new favorite things is to sit on/in just about anything designed for grown-ups. There isn't a bench or a chair he passes these days without asking, "Uh?" ("Up?").

That's all for now. More to follow, I'm sure! xo
