And a very lucky one at that, to be surrounded by so much love and joy -even if he did look a little shell-shocked when ALL of that love and joy was directed into the small crowd's rendition of "Happy Birthday"!

First Birthday

So, Sullivan is now officially one year-old. It's almost impossible to believe. Almost as difficult to believe as the idea that a year ago we were just getting to know eachother!

The official photos from Sullivan's first birthday celebration are still on the way (they're trapped in Sullivan's very busy father's camera, but I promise we'll share them soon). In the meantime, here are a couple of shots my friend David snapped of Sullivan enjoying his cake (and slipping into a sugar coma).

First Easter

Somewhere in between the great music at church, the brightly colored eggs he found at home, and SUGAR, Sullivan decided he likes Easter quite a lot.

So hard to believe that a year ago Sullivan's friend Anne-Marie was just days old, and he was a couple weeks away from arriving! The two had a playdate today at Tutu School, and (clearly) really enjoyed one another's company.
