On the Ice

The hockey obsession continues. We're coping as best we can. We've had to establish firm rules about hockey sticks not leaving the house (tears are nonetheless often involved in saying "goodbye"), but after a week of listening to Sullivan ask to go skating every day -and promising we would take him again soon- we finally gave in.

I've posted a video on Facebook, for those of you that have access, but here are some photos of the expedition to the rink. There were giggles in the car on the way there, tears when it was time to go, and a lot of fun in between.

This morning when I went in to get Sullivan out of bed he was shouting, "I just want to go! I just want go!" I asked him where he just wanted to go, and he said, "On the ice!"

It's a phase, right?

  1. Yeah, it's a phase....should end in 20-25 years. So great.......he has a look like his cuzs Morgan and Sophie in some of these. Go Sullivan!
