A Little Grocery Shopping

So, after practicing his grocery shopping skills a month ago at "Uncle Vito's Museum" (the Kohl Children's Museum, where they have an amazing kid-size pretend grocery store) Sullivan was incredibly prepared for our adventure today at Trader Joe's. After being offered one of the tot-sized carts they have for kids, he took off through the store and started dutifully loading celery and spinach into his little cart before turning back to the bread section for rolls. He was so intent on checking things off of his own (internal?) grocery list that he didn't really seem to notice that his mom and Oma were laughing so hard they were crying, nor did he really seem to care that none of these were groceries we actually needed. This grocery shopping stuff is serious business.

  1. And even when the cart got a bit heavy he was a real trooper pushing it himself. Such a special boy!
